Summer Sailfish and Dolphin

Hello Fish Fans, I’m loving the new boat and the SEAKEEPER  makes it unbelievably comfortable. The sailfish bite continues to be good to excellent catching 3 to 5 on most of our sailfish charters. We caught and released 9 on Monday and hoping this red hot bite continues, it’s been awesome.

The dolphin bite has been inconsistent with scattered weed so busted up it’s been unfishable sometimes. It’s been a bit better the last week or so and we’re catching a few more dolphin along the edge of the gulfstream. We had a great day in the deeper waters of the gulfstream on Saturday catching 25 dolphin and jumping off or missing another dozen. The best dolphin bite will continue to be 15 to 25 miles off the beach for the next month or two. There’s packs of dolphin meandering north with the weeds and gulfstream currents. Most are school size dolphin of 4 to 8 pounds but there’s always a few gaffers scattered about.

We haven’t been catching as many tuna as we usually do this time of year but the blackfin tuna we’re catching are all 15 to 25 pounds. There’s plenty of kingfish and false albacore around the the reefs to deliver some action in-between the sailfish bites.

The fishing is good and you’re going to love the new Reel Busy is give us a call and Let’s Go Catch’m. Captain Wayne Brodeur 772-341-6609 www.reelbusycharters.com
