Welcome aboard the Reel Busy and to our St. Lucie Inlet fishing report. We’ve been catching 7 to 10 Dolphin on most of fishing charters but it was lock and load yesterday.
We kept pushing offshore till we found a decent edge without the abundance of scattered weed and ended up in 700 to 800 feet of water. We caught 23 dolphin, all 5 to 10 pounds and released a sailfish.
There’s been a few dolphin in closer to shore from 150 to 300 feet but we’ve had our best action in 550 to 750 feet of water for the last week or so.
