Welcome aboard the REEL BUSY and to our St. Lucie Inlet Fishing Report. It continues to be a bit sporty offshore and we’ve been catching dolphin and sailfish six to eight miles off the beach.
There’s still allot of peanut dolphin tearing up the baits so we’ve been going through four to five dozen ballyhoo on most of our fishing charters. We’ve been coming home with six or seven dolphin from seven to ten pounds and still waiting for the bigger slammer dolphin to start pushing through.
The sailfish have started showing up like they did last spring and it looks like we’ll have a good sailfish bite during the spring and summer months again this year. It’s always nice to catch a sailfish or two with a box full of dolphin for dinner.
There hasn’t been much of a kingfish, wahoo or tuna bite but that should change any day now and we’ll let you know when it does.
We have a few days open the next two weeks so give us a call and catch some fish. Call Capt. Wayne Brodeur 772-341-6609 www.reelbusycharters.com
