Yellowtail Snapper

Left the inlet at 7:30am monday morning, met with solid 4-5 footers.  The wind never let up but the game plan was bottom fishing then troll or livebait for Cobia.  It didn’t take long to get the yellowtails going at depth of 70′ until a 6′ barracuda showed up.   The bite slowed some while he was around then a shark decided to join us as well.   The shark really put the fish down and we decided to haul anchor and move.  Off to the sandpile where we saw a few boats.  Stayed there for about an hour with the sharks, never saw a cobia.   It was a rough day but still had success.
