Steady Pick and Big Tuna

Hello Fish Fans, Welcome to our St. Lucie Inlet Fishing Report. Strong easterly breezes last week pushed more dolphin into the neighborhood. We had a steady pick of weeds and small dolphin this morning and there were a few gaffers and slammers reported. The winds are forecast to remain from the east and northeast this week. This should bring the scattered weeds together and allow the weed lines to form up. There’s plenty of dolphin pushing through but they’re  scattered about like the weeds. KIMG0748_01

Had a great time on another 2 day Bahamas Fishing Adventure. The seas were still a bit choppy on the east side of the gulfstream so we spent Sunday morning fishing off the corner. We caught a white marlin,  dolphins and blackfin tunas. The second day we fired up the radar and went hunting for yellowfin tuna north of the Bahama Bank. We caught skipjack tunas, big blackfin tunas up to 20 pounds and three yellowfin tuna, 42, 45 and 73 pounds. This time the shark only got the guts, you gotta love it.   KIMG0749_01
