Mahi and Mutton snapper! Monday morning cleared inlet at 8 a.m. headed due east to 100′ looking for weeds. at 185′ to 220′ found plenty of weeds bunched and scattered. at 10 a.m. had triple mahi hooked up and landed. trolled another hour headed north along weeds. hit another mahi better size. Was only using 3 rods / naked ballyhoo chin weighed w/circle hooks. headed into a known bottom area and hit some yellowtail snapper (too small) and a keeper mutton. had some other porgies released along the way. Was a great day with nice weather. Heading out again tomorrow.
