Dolphin Tuna

Hello Fish Fans, Welcome aboard the new REEL BUSY and to our Stuart Florida Fishing Report. Sailfish, Dolphin and Tuna have been providing most of the action with Wahoo and Kingfish in the mix. Stuart Florida is known for it’s sailfish bite during the winter as the sailfish migrate south to warmer waters. Less talked about is the red hot summer sailfish bite as they move north to cooler waters during the summer months. The main attraction during the summer months is dolphin and Tuna but if you’re a billfish enthusiast this is a great time of year to get hooked up with Reel Busy Charters and catch a few sailfish. Mahi-mahi or dolphin have been pushing through for the last few weeks. Most of the dolphin are school size of 4 to 8 pounds but there’s a few 10 to 20 pound scattered about. The dolphin bite’s looking good for the next several weeks so Let’s Go Catch’em. There’s been a good blackfin tuna bite on a ridge just 10 miles off the beach. Most of these tunas are 5 to 8 pounds and eager to play the game on most days. The blackfin tuna will move on and off the ridge for the next 6 weeks and there’ll be sailfish, dolphin and wahoo in the mix. As of now the Bahamas is planning on opening back up to boaters on July 1st. If you were thinking about joining us for a Bahamas Fishing Adventure or East Side Yellowfin Tuna Trip now’s the time to book it while rooms and dockage are available.
