Off shore fishing hasn’t improved much in recent weeks but live bait are once again becoming prevalent and maybe a turn up in activity is in the offing. One high note over the past weekend was Wayne Behrsin’s power trolling live bait SE of the Inlet in 180’-220’ of water. With friend Bob Korb aboard his 35 Contender, Wayne was able to bring in three nice dolphin, 10# - 30#, with his bull shown in the photo. Let’s hope this is a sign of things to come. The winds are roiling the seas currently but once they subside conditions might be in favor of the angler. |
